ABOUT

Family Dog Training is owned and operated by head trainer Margaret Daul. Margaret has been a dog lover and owner all her life, and provides individual behavior consultations for both new puppies and dogs with behavior issues. She has volunteered for Guide Dogs for the Blind since 2004 and has worked at the Peninsula Humane Society providing individual consultations and teaching group classes since 2009. These classes include but are not limited to Companion Dog 1, Companion Dog 1 for Small Dogs, and Puppy Kindergarten. She has also taught Beginning Puppy Training at Humane Society of Silicon Valley in Milpitas from Sept. 2011- Sept. 2013. Her individual consultations frequently address dog aggression, separation anxiety, and other behavioral issues.

Margaret's expertise in puppies comes from being a Leader in Puppy Raising volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB) for over 10 years. Her specialty is in puppies aged five months and under. In addition to leading regular puppy-raising classes for GDB, Margaret has also raised five puppies in her own home until they were 16 months of age.
